Mass Audubon
Founded in 1896 by two Boston women with a vision for protecting nature and wildlife in Massachusetts, Mass Audubon protects close to 40,000 acres of land throughout the state. They welcome more than a half million visitors a year to their wildlife sanctuaries and 20 nature centers. Properties include hilltop views, beautiful coastal landscapes, peaceful woods, and working farms. Mass Audubon protects our state’s natural treasures.
Zoo New England
Stone Zoo is located near the Spot Pond reservoir in Stoneham, MA. With over 10 exhibits and over 70 animals, some of the favorites are the bald eagle, bears and monkeys!
