Burlington is a suburb of Boston Middlesex County with a population of 27,650. It has a dense suburban feel and most residents are home owners. You will find a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many young professionals and retirees live in Burlington and the public schools in Burlington are highly rated.
In the 1970s and 1980s, the town was known for its high-tech industry; now, it’s booming with the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. This technological diversification has helped keep Burlington’s population stable, as well as employment levels and home values.

- The Burlington Town Common and Simonds Park are in the center of town and there are multiple parks and public recreation facilities throughout town which have basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, and an indoor skating rink (Burlington Ice Palace).
- The Burlington Public Library is on Sears Street adjoining the Town Common.
- The Burlington Sculpture Park is located between the Town’s Police Department and the Grandview Tavern, across from the Common. It is a collection of sculptures from artists from around the Globe. It is a beautiful spot to enjoy the artwork, have a picnic, or just have a few moments of quiet reflection.
