Winchester Outdoor Farmers Market
Starts the second Saturday of June – ends the last Saturday of October.
The farmers market will take place in the parking lot on Skillings Road/Mount Vernon Street across from the Town Hall in Winchester, Massachusetts. Please try to ride your bike or walk to the market if you can, or park your car in the Aberjona or Shore Road or on Skillings Road or Winchester High School for short-term parking near downtown businesses. The Aberjona lot, which runs along the commuter rail track across from the post office, is free on weekends, including the permit spaces in the end of the lot.

Winchester Farmers Market

We won’t be on the Town Common this year due to Covid-19, we will at the Skillings Road/Mount Vernon Parking Lot across from the Town Hall. WFMCHub (Winchester Farmers Market Community Hub) hosts the Winchester Farmers Market. We will be showcasing and promoting the consumption of locally grown fruits, vegetables, and meats, and local food producers.
The Market in the past has also been the outdoor venue for art, musical performances, and special events, as well as providing opportunities for local, startup entrepreneurs and artists to promote their products and services.
At the end of each Market day, produce is collected for Food for The Dwelling Place Soup Kitchen, volunteers are needed to help on each market day.
Each week a different organization is provided the opportunity to showcase their programs and resources. These organizations have included

- EnKa Society
- Jenks Center
- Mystic River Watershed Association
- Rotary Club of Winchester
- Winchester Artists Network
- Winchester Cultural Council
- Winchester Historical Society
- Winchester Community Music School
- Winchester League of Women Voters
- Winchester Multicultural Network
- and other non-profit groups.
In the past, many community groups have partnered with the WFMCHub to present special events at the market such as Ability Awareness Day, Community Organizations Day, International Day, Environmental and Health Fairs, and Art in the Park.
Offsite events have included garden and farm tours, a winter lecture series, and a Climate Change Adaptation Panel.
The Winchester Farmers Market Community Hub has become a highly respected community institution that has promoted aspects of sustainable communities while enhancing the quality of life in Winchester.
